The essentials of becoming a host.
Which venues can be submitted?
Any space suitable for events can be submitted. You must be authorised to represent the venue and consider the proposed uses. Publication takes place after review.
How much does an introduction cost?
The form does not trigger any payment. A commission on a completed transaction or a separate service may be agreed. The amount, who pays and the terms are defined in writing before any commitment involving payment.
Can I set my own prices and rules?
Yes. You specify the rates, spaces and applicable terms. The quote confirms the scope, taxes and additional services for each project.
Is my venue insured by CannesVenue?
No cover is automatic. Confirm with your insurer which activities are covered by your liability insurance and ask the organiser for appropriate supporting documents, taking account of the applicable cover and exclusions.
Does a security deposit replace insurance?
No. The amount, holding and return of any security deposit are governed by the contract. It does not replace insurance. CannesVenue does not collect or hold this deposit through the site.
How are bookings and payments handled?
They are arranged in accordance with the offer and contract agreed between the parties. The site does not process payments or offer instant booking. Receiving an enquiry does not reserve your venue.
Can I edit my listing?
By invitation, your host account allows you to suggest changes, which are reviewed before publication. You can also contact CannesVenue to correct information or request that your listing be removed.
How will I receive enquiries?
CannesVenue reviews project briefs and shares relevant enquiries with you. Once shared, they can be viewed in your host account. The public form is not a direct messaging service to the owner.
Can international organisers view my venue?
The site is available in French, English, Italian, German and Russian. We prepare translated versions of new listings; event details remain to be confirmed during discussions.
